Prayer is experiencing a living relationship with God. God wants to share our lives with us in times of joy and times of suffering. He offers strengh, peace and guidance to those who seek him. The Bible encourages us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer is not about seeking our own will, but about aligning ourselves with God’s.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
